Hi Everybody!!
Today it's a new and beautiful day, don't you think?
The topic of today is The “Discriminatión”, particularly I´m going to talk about “Why do people discriminate?” from my point of view.
Well, I think that the discrimination is an adaptative response if we look this concept without a moral point of view. The etiology of discriminatory behavior could have an associative base. For example, many people that usually commit crimes have similar characteristic, so we associate this characteristic whit a crime situation and for that we discrimanate or we go away from the people with this characteristic.
The same mechanism work when we have an aversive experience with a dangerous animal, this animals ussually have some especific characteristic that we will never forget if this animals attack to us. So, if we could remember and discriminate this characteristic in the future, probably we have the opportunity to escape before the animal catch us when we confront to it. This is the reason because I think that the discriminatory behavior is an adaptative behavior.
Of course, if we analyze the “Discrimination” from another point of view, it could be an horrible behavior because when a person discriminate to another person could generate a big suffering. I think that The Society is a complex thing where the adaptative response and evolutionary behavior is not enough to have a peaceful life. However, we can´t escape from ours evolutional mechanism.
For that, I thint that the people ussually fight between the morals things to promote a peaceful life and the adaptative response of discrimination to prevent they self from a potential danger.

Very interesting your last point.
